From the British Broadcasting Company's April 16 Daily Pictures,
Igorot tribesman Robert Duyugan rides his wooden scooter in a race as the Filipino town of Banaue celebrates the traditional Imbayah festival. Igorot tribesmen are renowned for their woodcarvings.

Akala ko ba, iba ang Igorot at Ifugao? Pareho lang ba?
Igorot and Ifugao are the same. Igorot is a generic term, and includes Bontoc, Ifugao, Ibaloi, Kalinga and also other tribes from Abra.
Hi, I am confused too if Igorot and Ifugao means the same. I asked my Ifugao friend here in US and according to him, Ifugaos prefer to be called Ifugaos than Igorots.
wow.. that's a great leap towards sustainable living.. I'm so proud of that Igorot invention. I hope to see those scooters in streets soon!
reminds me a phrase from a well known song:
"faster.....
.......harder....
................SCOOTEEEEER!!"
