Sagada Tours - March & April 2010
Sunday, February 28, 2010
I had some readers asking for information on Sagada Travel Tours for this Holy Week - while this blog has provided details in the past and probably will continue to provide more in the future, I just wanted to clarify that this is not a Sagada travel site. I'm also not a big fan of travel tours because it is very constrained but it looks like it's the most convenient route for first timers to visit Sagada. bakit? lahat ba ng igorot unemployed? kau ba, lahat ba kau sa family o relatives mo employed? FOR YOUR INFORMATION, BENGUET PROVINCE WAS AWARDED FOR ITS PEOPLE ARE NOT THAT SUFFERING FROM POVERTY AND ALMOST ALL OF THE YOUTH ARE GOING TO SCHOOL..KAHIT DI KAMI MAGTRABAHO, MABUBUHAY KAMI KASI MAY BUKID AT KALABAW KAMI..IKAW BA,ANONYMOUS? GO AND EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!
anonymous: you got tha right and what is so bad about that..???
Unemployed?...so sorry to disappoint but they are thriving on comfortably...they are definitely engaged in gainful occupations..and mind you...the only problem that Igorots have is : to choose what meal to prepare come eating time...i suggest you immerse yourself or travel..to be educated..lest you be branded as a prejudiced person...and come to think of it...little knowledge is dangerous...
i pity those people who say igorots are poor. having your own land to plow, having your own cow, having your own house, eating three times a day with your own family, living with your own family and not depending on your parents aren't signs of being poor!. although i am not referring to the general population of the igorots but at least, majority of them do have all of those mentioned above. when we say "employed" it doesn't mean that you are working in a company or in a certain enterprise rather you have a work that is enough for a living that's why we have the tear SELF-EMPLOYED. people discriminating igorots are the worst people in the world. THEY HAVE BRAINS BUT ARE NOT FUNCTIONING. THEY NEED TO BE EDUCATED AND THEY NEED TO BROWSE THE INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE LIFESTYLES OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE. criticism w/o thinking is a great sign of stupidity! I ADMIRE YOUR INNOCENCE AND IGNORANCE, WHOEVER YOU ARE. i am sorry to tell you, but you are considered an imbecile.-LIJEN17
"TEAR"- TERM----LIJEN17
all i can say is that igorots are the most loyal friend youll ever had... they wont betray you and they will fight for until the end.... also igorots are very loving people...
how i wish to be adopted as an igorot...
Every individual has differences.Let us not be judgemental.Look deep or beyond.Igorots strive hard for the welfare of their families.Humility is one among the Good traits of an Igorot.Even if they are among the sons or daughters of a high-ranking individual within the Cordilleras, they don't even brag it.We are just Simple-Humble people.I encourage non-Igorot people to try being or immersing themselves with us.You might as well answer your questions or doubts about us.
Yes I live in the mountainous place of Baguio City.I am so proud I was born an Igorot to a full-blooded and naturally-born Igorot parents. They reared us well. They taught us how to live life in simplicity and humility. My parents inculcated in our minds and in our hearts how to be REAL PEOPLE and not REEL people.
