Lang-ay Festival 2009 - Photos and a Blog
Sunday, April 12, 2009
The Garden of Grace blog has the meatiest content on the Lang-ay Festival 2009 that I've seen so far. Photos, a video and a blog post capture a lot of the activities during the festival.
The St. Louis University Dance Troupe apparently took part in the street dancing on April 7. This Flickr photo gallery has just a few but very high quality photos.

Hey, the Lang-ay festival also featured different products of Igorot artisans and business-minded brothers and sisters.
The products were woodcarvings, weaving products, amulets (one sold beklat and crocodile's teeth pendants), a whole lotta wine (coffee, lemon, bugnay, blueberry, rice), agricultural produce and food.
Now, this is the part where i shamelessly plug my blogsite dealing with Igorot crafts. Hahaha. What a segue.
With that, i hope you do get to visit http://kaiwcrafts.blogspot.com as it features some of the Igorot crafts that were also sold during the Lang-ay Festival. Hehehe.
Salamat adi. Hahaha
Hi Kingat, I did visit your blog. The crafts you featured are really interesting. I'll be adding your blog to my blog roll.
Thanks.
Hi! Thanks for linking my Flickr site in this blog entry!
A few months later, I came up with another blog called "explored" where I feature some of my travels here in the Philippines.
