It's true. Howie Severino's wild horses in Sagada documentary was posted on his blog. The documentary can be viewed in 3 10-minute YouTube clips. Amazing.

Are these for real? Marlboro country? Never heard of it before. And I spent my early years in Sagada.

Wow, the elders of Sagada do know how to keep a secret! This is so amazing!

P.S.
Howie Severino's kid was Nitoy's classmate in theater, and I'm a bit sorry I was too shy to strike up a conversation with him (Howie) as we parents waited for our kids. I read his blog once in a while, and it's always a fascinating topic that he choses.

i noticed that a cute brown colt is running around with the group of horses..

due to continued rain and with no place for shade. i found it lying lifeless at marlboro mountain.. poor horse...

if there will be sightings of new born horses, i guess, the guides would go and create a makeshift shade for the horses. :D

It would be nice if they do something to protect these horses as was mentioned they are the only wild horses in the Philippines.

they are not wild horses per se, the proper term is ferral and as of 2015, they all died, some of natural causes some was slaughtered/butchered for their meat, thanks to the native higlanders (not all are bad)
